Daniel R. Coombe, JD, CLMP
Dan has been a Partner at CCRJ (formerly known as Markusson Green & Jarvis) since 2014. He was made a junior partner in 2013 and has also served as CCRJ’s marketing director. Prior to joining CCRJ, in early 2009, Dan practiced construction defect, commercial, mass tort, and personal injury litigation at another preeminent Denver law firm.
Before beginning his practice in 2005, Dan was United States Congressional intern, and further developed his legal skills during daily courtroom appearances with the Denver District Attorney’s Office during law school. After law school, he clerked for a Colorado Chief District Court Judge.
Dan is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the Colorado State Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the United States Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit.
His professional affiliations also include The Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance, the Colorado Claims Association, the Denver Claims Association and the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association.
For many of these organizations he has been a guest speaker, authored articles, and presented lectures on issues such as resolution techniques, complex litigation, contractual indemnity, risk transfer, additional insured status, and contracts.

Honors and Awards
In 2019 Dan was recognized in the Denver Post as a Colorado Super Lawyer, placing him in the top 5% of Colorado attorneys. He was recognized as a Colorado Super Lawyer, Rising Star, from 2013-2019.
In 2015 was named a “10” Best Personal Injury Law Attorney (Defense) for Client Satisfaction in Colorado by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys (AIOPIA).
He has also been named a “Top 40 Under 40 Litigation Lawyer in Colorado” by the American Society of Legal Advocates.
