H. Keith Jarvis, JD
One of Colorado’s foremost construction attorneys since 1984, Keith has been responsible for complex litigation involving construction defect, contracts, and major personal injury and property damage claims. His practice focuses on construction defects lawsuits involving general contractors, developers, subcontractors and material suppliers, in addition to contractual disputes, products liability, fire cause and origin, medical products liability, toxic tort and environmental litigation. Furthermore, he has also worked as a mediator to resolve construction defect matters.
Keith lead the MGJ defense team recently involved in a significant Colorado construction defect arbitration decision involving a 250-unit multifamily project. He represented the general contractor in that case, which resulted in a lower than six figure liability after an initial demand of over 20 million from the Plaintiff. This was a significant defense decision in the history of Colorado Construction Defect litigation.
Keith is a member of the Colorado State Bar, the United States Supreme and the United States Circuit Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, Sixth and Tenth Circuits.
His professional affiliations also include the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association (CDLA), the Defense Research Institute (DRI), The CLM (Claims and Litigation Management Alliance), The Denver Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association.

Keith holds an AV peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has for several years been named one of the “Best Lawyers” in America, and has been selected to the list of Super Lawyers in Colorado for construction litigation. He has presented and spoken at DRI and most recently at The CLM annual meeting of 2019.
