Kathleen Kulasza, JD

Of Counsel

Meet Kathleen

Kathleen is a Senior Counsel in the firm’s litigation defense practice group, with a focus on representation of general contractors in construction defect actions. She brings exceptional analytical, research and drafting skills and many years of litigation experience to the defense of construction professionals and other commercial clients.

Kathleen grew up and was educated on the East coast but found her home in Colorado after spending a summer as an intern with a major Denver law firm. She joined that firm in the natural resources department, litigating water rights, oil and gas, and environmental disputes. She later was a partner and managing attorney in two boutique litigation firms, and had principle supervisory responsibility for multi-party construction defect cases, professional banking liability litigation, real estate disputes, and commercial contract litigation.

Kathleen has had a constant presence in the community, through her volunteer work with Leadership Evergreen and the Mountain Resource Center in Conifer. She coached the Evergreen High School Mock Trial team for six seasons, including two trips to the state championship. Currently, her volunteer hours are spent reading the news to the residents of an assisted living community.

When she has a spare minute, Kathleen hikes, reads, and travels.
